MY APPROACH
I am an accredited integrative psychotherapist and hypnotherapist, committed to supporting your personal development and self-awareness through specialised therapeutic approaches.
Drawing upon my expertise in therapy and background as a mental health nurse, I aim to create a safe and trusting environment for our sessions, enabling you to explore life events and your own priorities supported by a caring approach.

I offer face to face and digital therapy, including online sessions tailored to your individual needs. Online therapy may be more convenient depending upon your situation, providing a valuable resource for many clients. Key values informing my therapeutic relationship with clients are compassion, creativity, collaboration and personal freedom.
THE FIRST SESSION
The initial assessment session is an opportunity to share your concerns, and for me to gain a clear picture of how life is affecting you and what you want to gain from therapy together. We aim to identify the reasons behind your decision to seek therapy and determine the most effective course of action to address your concerns.
Additionally, we will address important factors such as confidentiality and the practicalities of our working relationship, whether in-person or through remote means.
If we move forwards, as good practice, we will both sign a therapeutic agreement to clarify expectations and provide a framework for our time together. If, upon assessment, it is determined that alternative resources may better suit your needs at this time, I will provide guidance and refer you to appropriate recommendations.
It is recommended to conclude therapy with a final session, allowing for a review of progress and mutual closure of the therapeutic relationship.
SESSION FORMATS
Each session is scheduled for a duration of 60 minutes, adhering to our agreed upon time and format.
Therapy services are now available in various formats, thanks to advancements in technology. In addition to traditional face-to-face sessions, options such as video, telephone, text, and email delivery can be flexible alternatives depending on individual needs. I am equipped to assist you in navigating the technology involved in online therapy, which is easily accessible even for newcomers to this format.
During our first assessment session we discuss which format is best for you, and how to ensure it will be as safe and comfortable experience as possible. Online therapy can be just as effective as in person therapy as long as there is clear communication and collaboration between the client and therapist.
